I am a retired corporate banking professional, following my passion to help others achieve a healthy lifestyle fueled with good food and lots of movement.
In 2015, I decided to go back to school for my MBA in hopes to figure out what was next in my career. I surprised myself a bit. While graduating with my masters in business administration didn’t take me to my next step in the corporate world, it has been a huge asset in starting my own business.
I did a lot of soul searching throughout my three years in grad school and I came to the realization that I am fulfilled most when I am moving my body and fueling it with healthy food.
After many years of yo-yo dieting, overtraining and undereating that led to hurting my body more than helping it, something struck me. A six pack doesn’t always equal good health. I knew there was a better way and I was determined to learn it, do it and teach others the same. After going through my own physical and mental transformation, I discovered I have a love for building a healthy body from the inside out and I knew it could be so rewarding to help others do the same.
Fast forward to 2018, I took a chance and left my successful ten year career and put in the work required (and continue to every day) to become a nutrition and fitness coach. By Spring of 2019, I launched my Nutrition & Fitness Coaching business, The Mindful Body Balance.
I thrive on and get really giddy when working with and showing people how they deserve to feel their absolute best by aligning their mind and body to achieve their goals.
I am a born and raised Delawarean! I currently live in Wilmington with my husband, Ricky, fur son Lincoln, and our beautiful daughter, Sienna! We hope to continue to grow our family and move to the Delaware beaches. We love to move our bodies, spend time at the beach, to travel all over, hang with our family & friends and a good snuggle session on the couch.
